Kate joined the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership as the Communications Manager in January 2007. As a hunter, angler and outdoor enthusiast, Kate has always had a passion for protecting the earth’s natural resources and preserving its remaining wild places. She is thrilled with the opportunity to apply her educational background in communications and conservation on behalf of the TRCP and the new Union Sportsmen’s Alliance to help guarantee a brighter future for hunting and fishing.
Kate grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she earned her English degree at Mercyhurst College. She then spent 2 years in Missoula, Montana, where she earned her master’s degree in environmental studies. Before joining the TRCP, she worked for Erie’s public broadcasting station as a Fundraising Coordinator. When not working, Kate stays busy exploring the rivers and wooded hills of the south.
