Enter Tim's Turkey Contest and Win!
Can you recall the first time you actually heard a wild turkey? That resonating sound that brought the entire woods alive has been luring you back ever since. For most hunters, turkey hunting is an obsession and a lifelong quest to bag the biggest bird, and it's no different for USA Regional Coordinator Tim Bindl. But Tim has bagged his fair share of trophy toms - now he wants to see yours! All USA members who enter their turkey will be included in the drawing for a U.S. made Beretta 3901 12-gauge shotgun. Prizes will also be awarded to the top three entries for each category - Eastern, Merriam, Osceola and Rio Grande. Contest valid from March 17, 2010 through June 1, 2010. To enter, you must be an active USA member and have harvested your turkey legally in North America during the 2010 spring season.
SCORING
Scores will be determined by: (total beard length x 2) + (spur length x 10). For example:Beard length is 8.5"
8.5 x 2 = 17 points
Spur length is 1" & 1-1/8"
2.125 x 10 = 21.25 points
17 + 21.25 = 38.25 total points
