USA to Host Inaugural Chicago Sportsmen’s Dinner

The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) will host its inaugural Chicago Sportsmen’s Dinner at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1 at the Piazza Bella Trattoria & Osteria restaurant, located at 2114-2116 W. Roscoe Street in Chicago.

Hosted locally by Illinois AFL-CIO President Michael Carrigan, Chicago Federation of Labor President Jorge Ramirez and Chicago and Cook County Building Trades President Tom Villanova, the dinner will help raise awareness of the organization as well as imperative funding to support the USA’s conservation mission

“With more than 74% of union members expressing an interest in hunting, fishing or shooting, this event offers union members from the Chicago area a unique opportunity to connect on a lifestyle level during a time when solidarity is key,” said USA Executive Director Fred Myers. “With Illinois’ hunting season in full swing, we hope you’ll join us for this celebration of labor, the great outdoors and the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance.”

Tickets are available for $125 per guest and include dinner, an open bar and a commemorative gift. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a raffled gun, every 30 minutes, while connecting with more than 100, like-minded union sportsmen and women.

Sponsored by the Union Insurance Group (UIG), one-hundred percent of the proceeds raised will go to support the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s work to unite the union community while expanding and improving hunting and fishing access and wildlife habitat throughout North America.
