Dylan Mooney, the 12-year-old son of SMWIA Local 18 member Mike Mooney from Sullivan, WI, shot this turkey at about 30 yards with his 20-gauge gun. During Dylan’s first hunting experience with a gun, the father and son team set up in a blind and called three turkeys in – two hens and a tom. Dylan successfully shot the tom, which weighed 24 pounds, had a beard and 1 & ¼” spurs.
