My friend and I took my small 12 foot boat into a remote little pond and caught 18 lakers this morning.  We kept 2 that were hooked deep.  The biggest we caught was 28 inches and i believe they averaged about 4 pounds.  It was 28 degrees when we got to the lake.  Gotta love spring fishing!!!
