how was your season in northwest indiana for deer ????  i seen maybe three bucks 6 pointers or less,,,,cant wait for turkey season

I am originally from KY and I know that the western end of the state is beginning to get a little notoriety for its big deer but I am hearing a lot of folks lately talking about the quality of deer in Indiana as well.  We are trying to support a union guy and his wife, Tony and Angie Walker of Hardcore Outdoors, and they have been taking some REALLY big deer (including Angie’s 192 class giant) out of their farm near Rensselaer, IN.  Sounds like more and more folks are figuring you guys out as a big buck state as well.

We might not agree on college basketball teams but I do agree with you about turkey season!

Turkey talk got me side tracked. I agree with Mr. Mike. Your state does have some quality hunting.

For any one looking to hunt Turkeys in WI…They have an extra 70,000 tags that go on sale over the counter March 22, 2010.  My wife applied for the 1st time and ended up with 4 season….my goal is to put her on a bird early and hopefully the appreciation for the great outdoors will continue.
