Here’s 4 reasons to go ice fishing for crappies.  Caught these last weekend on the backwaters of the Mississippi.  Small treble hook with crappie minnow, fishing in about 14 ft of water, most were suspended at 8 to 10 ft.

Ruzzy,

the ice around us is about 18 inches, driving trucks every where on Lake Onalaska.  The BackWaters of the Mississippi has some of the greatest fishing, however, some of the hidden area are only accessible by foot or 4-wheeler.
