have a brand new extrema2 ,was bird hunting this morning, with remington high brass 23/4 game loads. i had two miss fires. firing pin hits dead center, has anyone else had simmular problem?

The Xtrema is a really reliable gun so I am really surprised you had two misfires.  Since it is a new gun, has anyone at the gun dealer taken a look at it?

not yet mike, bought a box of federals last night have to try them. I also was shooting an older box or remington 2 3/4 high brass, and fiocchi 3” back ups these didn’t misfire . i will try the rest of the remington game loads in my sons binelli this weekend see what happens. thanks for the help     rich, pipefitters local 274 jersey city nj

mike, i went to another sporting goods store tonight,bought more federals started to tell the counter man that i bought a box of remington express, and he said, you had two duds. he also said remington ammo has become a little unreliable. still wondering if anyone else had a simmular experience .  Thanks Mike   Rich 274

Never had any issues with remington shells winchesters on the other hand…......

seems that bad lots are in northern nj, and southern end of ny state.
