Don’t know much about crossbows, but I do know some states are pretty strict on how, when, and where you can use them. You’ve probably already looked into that. Good luck this year anyway.
Not personally familiar with the brand but Parker makes compound and crossbows and they are made in the U.S.A. - something to consider. Here’s a link to their site.

I shoot an Excalibur - It`s simple to work on - You don`t need a press - It is the most accurate on the mkt.
IF you should have a dryfire and break a string, a new one can be put on in the field, and no need to sight it in.
Go to excaliburcrossbow.com to see all the products available, I shoot the “phoenix” - 305 fps - lightest trigger pull.
Get the “right stuff” package, you can be shooting 30 min. after it comes in the mail. 30 min. to sight in the scope
then practice at 20 - 30 - and 40 yards.
Some states are handycap ONLY some are handycap OR over 65. Very few are open to all if they allow the crossbow at all.
