Welcome CONMAN,
I was wondering about that camera also. Everyone might not get The Sportsman Guide. The camera is made by Wildgame Innovations. It’s the Timber Eye 5.0 IR camera. Has anyone used this camera?
I have two Stealth flash 35mm film cams the work really well, although I want to get away from the film and the flash. I tried a Wildview it ia way to slow on the trigger. At least the one I had was.
      Any suggestions on brands?

    elkgtr,
The photo thing wasn’t working too good at that time. I don’t know if it’s working now.I’m going to try one.

  NOPE STILL NOT WORKING !!

I have a stealth cam but is a 35 MM so it is slow and can be expensive to devlop film and get pictures with no game in them. I have another digital camera and that is nice we have two memory cards so we switch them out and use a digital camera to view what we have for pictures. it is also nice to have a camera without a flash so the deer will stay useing the same trail.  The other problem I have found with film is that the bears can smell the film so they try to rip down the camera to get to the film.

Darby,
Thanks for the info on the cameras. I have trouble with my Wildiew digital camera but not the Stealth 35 mm film one, catching the animals while they are moving. Is your digital a Stealth also?

I do not see any pictures on that thread I borrowed a 35mm stealth cam but don’t want to spend the money for film or developing. So timbereye from sportsman guide might not be the ticket price is nice.  I did see turkey pictures those looked good want cam took those. I need to capture varmints of the two legged nature they like to rearange my landscape stones some are over 75 lbs not fun puttin it back. Cars pass by people walking dogs 35mm might get expensive.

I used the Stealth 35mm film trail camera that I bought at Walmart three years ago for the turkey photos. I scanned them to my computer and made them bigger It takes great photos and is quick on the trigger.

Why can’t you tell me the brand of the digital trail camera that you use that you say takes quick photos?

I too woud like to use digital to be able to download directly to computer. I bought extra cards for the Wildview digital but it is so slow I cannot walk slowly enough to get a photo of me in the backyard. These things cost too much to keep buying ones that don’t work. I guess I might have to invest in some dark room equipment and make my own photos!
I’m going to start a new post so I can see it.  I can’t get to this second page!!!! unless I go thru an e-mail notification!!
