this being a union member site i want to ask everyone to at least let everyone know what union you belong to.

some people feel intimidated by a big old forum but it is harmless. i am not asking for your SS# just that everyone put their local and number in the signature of your posts.

i feel like we are a diverse bunch of yahoo’s but we do all get along. we dont agree on everything but we get along.

just interested in seeing what locals are represented.

Bird, ya left out so many!  Machinist, firefighters, teachers, police officers, postal workers, teamsters, &on;& on & on. Us construction workers aren’t the only ones smart enough to join a union, but one thing we all are is brothers & sisters united for a better way of life as I’m sure you well know. Just don’t want anyone to feel left out. Oh yeah, SHEET METAL WORKERS RULE!! LOCAL 85 ,ATLANTA,GA.  USA!

Fighting Machinists!! IAM LL 1115 La Crosse WI.. I do like the point of putting your local in everyone’s signature…gives us more a sense of where each of us are at geographically.  Especially if we want to contact each other for information on hunting or fishing in an area other than our own states.

USW here.  Funny thing is, I work in the paper industry.  We were PACE but we merged into the steelworkers union back in 2005.  I am proud to be a 3rd generation union worker.  My grandfather helped start this local back in 1943.

I live in southern Maryland. For being a fairly small state on the map, Maryland has some of the best fishing and hunting in the country. I just haven’t been lucky enough to take that monster buck or giant stripper yet. But thats not to say I won’t stop trying as long as I can still get into the woods, and sit on that river bank. Work union, live better!
