Hey i just went on a hunting trip to a game preserve in pa. i had a blast with my hunting buddies. it was fun to get out in the offseason and bag a wild boar. i got to see some animals such as water buffalo, fallow deer and red deer. i would never be able to see such animals on my budget in the wild. only problem is i felt like it was almost unfair to be able to find game so easily. looking for some feedback.

In central WI, we have the Powder Plant, which is 5000 acres with 8 ft high fence. This was used during both WWI AND WWII to make bullets. I was able to draw a tag to go bowhunting several years back. It was like hunting in a game farm. We would stack the White-tails by walking around old buildings and structures.  We seen a lot of deer and had plenty of opportunities, some how I missed twice!!! So as easy as it was to find the deer, hitting the mark was more embrassing!  Needless to say I sold that bow and know use a release which is much easier than shooting straight fingers.

yea i wanted to make sure that i wasnt going to miss so i brought my .270. even though it isnt a guarantee i felt my chances were better. next time i plan to go with my bow to make it more challenging. i have to go back for the boar meat alone.
