Ok, all I will try and get this going again. I have purchased a few more trail -cams. I upgraded to the RECONYX. They are working GREAT. I have never had cams that batteries lasted 5 - 6 months and the cams are taking over 1,000 pictures every 10 days. I have them set to take an amazing 3 pictures per second. I find these cams a little pricey, but so well worth the price.

Ok lets get this party started, the idea here is to keep this thread going. I will post some pictures, you will share some of yours and then I will post more. It would be a good thing if there were so many posts that I ran out of pictures. So there is a challenge!!!

Folks - Beau put out the challenge so let’s see who else has some shots they are willing to put up here.  Hell, I will throw in a $25 gift certificate from Cabela’s for the best, funniest or coolest trail image that posts on this thread in the next 30 days.  Right now the certificate belongs to Beau!

Guys - I can’t believe this.  I put out a $25 Cabela’s gift certificate for the best trail cam shots and no one else has posted anything.  You don’t have to have a Booner on the pictures to win this thing…just want to see what some of you folks have moving around on your property.  Bring ‘em on boys and girls!

Don’t know if the photo will come out or not. I don’t know if the deer can see yet or not either.

Hey Ron,
Nice picture, he was looking into the camera to see if his blue contacts where adjusted right, and make sure his movie star eyeliner was straight. LOL. I have one almost like that one, I’ll try and remember to post it.

Boss - I used Lucky Buck mineral, that is until a couple months ago when the Michigan DNR banned any baiting or supplementals due to 1 doe with CWD found in an enclosure here in Michigan. That stump was about 3 foot around and rooted in the ground 2 years ago. I have other spots where the deer have a hole dug 3 feet deep and 9 feet around. They really liked it and it really did put the mass on them here in the area. It took about 3 years to really see the difference but when I did they gained an average of 45 inches in mass. I used the Lucky Buck on my property for 8 years.

dslyr- Great extreme closeup of your deer and thanks for sharing.  That buck is probably still trying to recover from the shock when that flash went off.

Beau - thanks for continuing to share.  Talked to Tim Bidle this week and it looks like you guys might cross paths sometime in the real near future.  He’s a good guys and he’s working hard for the USA…hope all goes well.

Take care,

Mike
