Well, I got my new trigger from Timney! Replacing my old military trigger on the Mauser I just finished. What a great thing!! I have it set at a pound an half pull. Is this to lite? I really like the feel! I bought at Brownells. If you need gun parts this is the place to call. 1 800 741 0015

For anyone who orders parts from Brownells or Midway I have a tip.  A C&R;FFL is around $30 and it is good for 3 years.  It allows you to order C&R;rifles and pistols through the mail without any hassle.  It also allows you to purchase a C&R;handgun without a waiting period in most states.  A C&R;FFL gets you wholesale pricing on gun parts through Brownells and Midway.  The savings is significant and will pay for itself quickly.

On the subject of old mausers, ATI has a nice synthetic stock with an integral scope mount rail that attaches over the front of the receiver and barrel area so that you don’t have to worry about tapping the receiver for a scope.  The only thing you need to do is remove the rear site.  The magazine follower and spring fit into the stock and the barreled action slips in from the top.  The piece with the scope mount the attaches over the action and into the stock.  It retails for about $80 at Dunham’s.

I bought astock Boyds. Pepper laminate thumb hole stock . I really like it! With the thumbhole your shoulder doesnt take all of the recoil.

Timney makes some excellent triggers and they have one of the most state of the art manf. facilities around.

Its amazing how fast they can turn a concept into a product.  Timney used my CZ 527 to build a prototype trigger.  They did it in less than two weeks.
