i noticed that out of 2060 so called members why only 120, by my count, have at least 1 post. so non active members are able to win the gun raffle also. some of these members appear to be bots and trolls.
Mike says their working on that. Would like to know the difference between a member & a USA member. Some have numbers, some don’t. And I belive the drawing is for all members , close to 5K. Not all join the forum part. Some one please correct me if I’m wrong here.
Friends hell !!! Brothers and Sisters is what we are first and foremost and there are a damn site less of us than what there where when I first joined my Union.
That being said aint no need to be bashful around this group thats for sure.
Guys - sorry…been away for a day or two. The club is actually up over 5,000 members (!) but the forum members - which is slightly different - is only above 2,000. Boss is also right that some of those forum members are bots and fake id’s and we are trying to put stronger filters on and then we will begin to remove these. With regards to winning all our stuff, ONLY VALID USA MEMBERS ARE QUALIFIED TO WIN so we never give goods to someone outside the program. In fact, we frequently bump the name of the winner against the union’s database to make sure the member is legit. Just trying to make sure the goods go where they belong.
I too like to read alot of the posts and don’t always have an opinion on all that
I read…..but when I do I will paln on posting…

ok before someone gets there feeling hurt and goes crying to mama let me explain my question.
i wanted to make sure that the winners are ACTUAL UNION MEMBERS and not some kind of bot or troll. i would love to see more people post on here. the forum is a great way to learn new ideas about hunting fishing cooking things and anything inbetween.
I agree with you BigBird…we want people to get on the forums and talk, tell lies, swap hunts and generally have fun talking about the outdoors. For those that don’t want to post, no worries. Just keep coming back and when we do land on a subject that you feel strongly about, feel free to let us know what you think. And on last thing, I promise you I will never give a prize away to a bot!
I read two weeks ago that even now, less than half of the households in the U.S. have computers in them. I know of many seniors that will not have them because of the nasty junk mail. Many people out here in the country in Mississippi can’t afford them, and when somebody gets one for Christmas, the first time there’s a problem nobody knows how to fix it and they can’t afford to take it to a shop. I know that inner city kids can’t have them because their dads and big brothers will take them to the pawn shop and put the proceeds up their nose. I saw this happen in public housing projects for many years. I bought a kid a trombone so he could be in the school band, but his father took it to the pawn shop within 2 months. Thank the Lord that you are blessed with the patience and with the means to post here. Many Union members around me cannot. I am so happy that I can enjoy the technology era. Count your blessings!
I like to get my two cents in the pot. I retired now and travel a little or some say alot. But I always find time to get on line to see whats going on here. Now this weekend I’ll will start hunting turkeys in Tenn and Indiana. I’ll be hunting my ### off trying to get the big one for the BIG TURKEY CONTEST. So bigbird I’m still here to read and sometime put in a word or two. Remember be union or be gone.
I’m in Datona now. Last Saturday we ran part of the Datona Race track for three laps. I belong to the SSR club. We had 92 of us on the track. One hell of a time
