Welcome to the USA John.  I had raised a similar question to Mike (admin) a while ago and he was going to try to find out some similar info.  If you find out anything, by all means let us know. I went hog hunting once and loved it and the meat too.

I know it’s kinda late but I just joined the board. I’ve been hunting with a guy in Georgia- Gary Frye, owns happy acres expedition in Screven Georgia. I went hog hunting and gator hunting with him. Top rate service and put you on game. He does only primative weapons hunting-bow, blackpowder etc. Give him a call or check out his website. google happy acres expedition

When I was there one of the times I found a huge piece of state land that was on the other side of the Altamaha river from where we were hunting that had hogs on it. You might want to get a map and look up Screven Ga. and find the Altamaha river. On one side in the area where we were it was private and on the other side was public. In fact the one weekend we were there i saw about 3-4 campers and the guys were huntng hogs on the state land. Hope that helps

Sab
