i am looking for a cabin on a lake in virginia,west virginia or ohio to rent for 3 guys for a week of fishing. pontoon boat rental would be great. we have been going somewhere every year for 30 yrs. and are out of ideas .

Sorry I cant help you way up here in Maine but I will tell you this….....after 30 years I am sure that a “new” place would be great, but I will bet that its more about fishing with your friends and that any of your old haunts would work just fine.  I hope you find what youre looking for.

Try Lake Anna http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/lak.shtml or Smith Mountain Lake http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state_parks/smi.shtml. Not sure about boat rentals there though. Both have good popluations of Strippers, largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish and sunfish…not sure what species you’re after. Good luck!
