starting a few years ago me and some friends started fishing on new years eve and fish all they way through the night and into new years day.

we see who will catch the last fish for this year and the first fish of the new year. we have been in Tenn, Alabama, Ohio and Georgia.  this year we will be in Chattahoochee florida below lake seminole. this is a nice sandy beach area with plenty of room for a good many people. we will cook out and have a good bonfire and hopefully plenty of fish.

all though the fish are carp i have caught a good many blue cats here as well. up in the 20 lb range. lots of mullet and sheephead and other salt water fish. rumors of bullsharks caught there as well

lots of gators as well!!  so why go out dancing and partying when you can do all that and fish too!! 

we will be there early new years eve and leave some time on new years evening!!

Gonna be in Orlando the first week in March. My wife has to do some corporate crap for her job. Is that too far from home to meet “THE GARLINGHOUSE”?

lets see….....................i live outside atlanta and you will be in orlando…...............yep a little to far i am sad to say!!  but…..................you have to drive through atlanta to get there so stop give me a call and i will come and meet you and the family.
