Well I hope everyone out there is getting ready for the long (good) part of the season.  We start back up mid Dec. But a group of our guys are going to AR in early Dec.  I am so ready for cold weather and new birds, hopefully we have alot of new pics to post up.

Man I sure hope your guys are hunting private ground or are up in the northern part of the state. A good friend of mine is a transplanted razorback and his family still lives there and they have had a duck camp at Bayou Meto down by Stuttgart for 40 years and Jim has been talking to his Brother a couple times a week and is hearing there is little to no water in the timber just yet and they are concerned.

It hasnt been much better here as it has been way to warm, but we are seeing new birds coming in the last few days so maybe just maybe I wont embarrass myself when we shoot the Brotherhood outdoors show starting Friday !!!

Best of luck to you and your crew and I truly hope you grind em up where ever you are hunting !!!

Home base is in Ohio, and we have had the same problem’s with the temps.  Our zone is out until Dec. 11th so we still have a chance to get some new birds before we start.  We are going to the area you talked about with no water, but we are hunting private stuff they flood.  We will keep our fingers crossed.

Lets hope they get the ducks in for you guys. I know the last few years they have knocked the crap outta the mallards around Christmas but this push we have rolling through the plains today ought to get something moving south.
