My 2010 muzzleloader buck

Yesterday was the opener for our 2010 muzzleloader season here in Ontario. Just before dark I had this buck come charging out of the bush chasing does. It shot him at 122 yards with my muzzleloader and he dropped on the spot! He’s my biggest buck to date!

Awesome deer and thanks for sharing him with us.  What gun were you shooting…couldn’t tell from the picture.

I’m shooting a Traditions pursuit 2 xlt with the traditions muzzle loader scope on it using 150gr. of pyrodex and a 250gr. Hornady ftx bullet. It did the trick for me again.

We were out this morning. The birds are really tough right now. We only got eleven but got two bands so it was too bad!

My taxidermist scored him at 137” gross,my best before was a 128"gross buck.
