Thank you USA. I been having lot of health issues with my family. My mom 84 had a stroke 8 weeks ago. Now lives with wife and I. My poor wife was rear ended by a woman on April 27th,10. She the woman just got out of rehab 4 weeks before she hit my wife for drug abuse. This is third DUI. Was on bond from a DUI in January. Refused a drug test when she hit my wife spend 60 days in jail.Wife just had a fusion in Feb,10. This caused 2 large tares in disc above the fusion. Now on the November 24th wife goes for another fusion. So we been having issues. I have canceled my hunting for this year. Then on Nov 9th I get a call from Pine Groves Lodge in Maine. I was out with my mom at the store wife took the message. Bob Howe said come up this Satuday for a deer hunt all I have to do is pay for hunting license and my air fare. I leave at 6 am from sunny Florida and will be in Maine around 11 am. I’m still in shock.  While up in Maine going to meet Mike Higgens

Jeesh Ray, Lori and I were talking about you last night after I got home from work.  Someone should make a country music song about your life over the past year!  LOL just kidding.  I am looking forward to meeting you on Sunday.  I would love to spend more time with you but I am planning on going to my own hunting camp Sunday afternoon.  I looked up Pine Grove Lodge and I know exactly where that is.  Its about an hour from my home and that area is a destination of mine for fishing.  There is some great trout fishing in that area.  I have your contact info in my phone so I will give you a call sunday before I ride up just to make sure your guides dont have you out doing something.  If thats the case, I am on vacation all week and at some point in the week I should have time to scoot up there and see you.  Hopefully the guides will put you on some deer.  I walked around in the rain yesterday because I have had enough of this stuff and needed to get out of the house.  I got soaked of course but it was well worth it.  I saw alot of scrapes and tracks.  Historically the deer are chasing end of this week into the 3rd week.  Its my favorite time to hunt.  I think you are coming up at a perfect time.  I wish you luck Ray!

Man you have had a hell of a lot thrown at you thats for sure. I hope you have a blast while you are up there and much thanks to Bob Howe for doing this for you. I will tell you this is a hell of a place for us blue collar hard hat types and I cant believe it took so long for something like the USA to come about but we are here now and we aint going anywhere but forward !!!

Thanks very much. It’s a dream come true for me. I talked with Bob at first i thought was a bad joke. I was a union meat cutter in Baltimore Maryland I had 18 years till I ruined both arms and got sick. With health issues and having back fused thanks to a drunk driver.I am going to try to hunt till I can’t. I leave on the 13th and come back on 21. Wife has surgery on the 24th. She was hit by a woman that this is her third DUI. Wife will be out at least 3 months. So this hunt came at a good time for me. We bought a small piece of land in Tennessee was going there to hunt with wife having surgery I wasn’t going. I’m truly bless and I hope USA is running a long time. Best thing I ever did was join USA

Mike My friend Dave Norval knows a few country singers in Tennessee I guess should try to get a song done about me. But Ihave to say I have never given up. But would be nice to have a song done lol
