This is my 4 y/o German wire hair, Houdini she was a rescue we picked up in April she went on her first hunt on a preserve here in Michigan. Pointed and held steady on all 20 birds. She also is in this months Gun Dog magazine..not bad for a dog that was abused and a week away from being put down at the pound..Hope everyone is having a good season.

That’s awesome Scott! Glad she turned out to be a good dog for ya. I’ve been a little busy, so I haven’t made it out yet!

Thanks we also rescued a 2 y/o German Short Hair, a month ago, who was being starved to death. He was 20 lbs under wieght. He has been to one training session and did a great job pointing and retrieving.  I am enjoying every second of it..
