cheese Any Union brothers willing to let me tag along for either a duck or goose hunt and teach me the ropes here in Michigan ( I am on the east side). This would be my first time waterfowl hunting. I have a dog ( German Wired Hair) who just got introduced to ducks during training she is a rookie for sure. Would love to get involved in waterfowl hunting just don’t have a clue were to begin and who better to learn from but fellow union brothers.

I did get some contacts from my fellow Union Firefighters and a couple IOUE members. we exchanged numbers and they are willing to take me out and show me the ropes. I have found that alot of people are worried that thier honey hole might be taken but I am not like that. I just want to learn the sport, I have always wanted to try it, I also want to be able to pass it down to my son and hopefully along the way meet some new friends. grin

Family, and brotherhood is what it’s all about. Unfortunately the “honey hole” syndrome, can mess that up. I don’t know a thing about waterfowl, but South Dakota has some great hunting. I might go sit in a mud puddle to make a new friend!
