Turning Green
Peter B. Mathiesen
Seasickness will turn a fun day on a boat into a miserable day of chumming your lunch into the water. Here are a few tricks to help keep the dreaded green monster at bay. Stay in the fresh air while the boat is underway. Stay out of the cabin, and don’t stare at the floor. Skip lunch. Drink more fluids (water, not beer). Use the horizon as your visual reference and avoid the boat’s exhaust fumes.
