Upcoming Episodes
All-new episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. (ET) with repeats on Thursdays at 11 p.m. (ET), Fridays at 1 p.m. (ET) and Mondays at 6 a.m. (ET) on Sportsman Channel.
March 1 at 8 pm (ET) — Montana Deer with a Union Operating Engineer
Jesse Mondragon, an operating engineer (IUOE Local 564) from Angleton, TX, earned a Bronze Star while bravely serving his country in the Army during the First Persian Gulf War. His military ties remain strong as he serves as the military veteran’s representative for his company and union brothers and sisters and helps collect goods and money to send care packages to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. His dedication and service earned him a trip to Montana, where he gets a chance at a 145 Boone & Crockett class, 10-point whitetail on a hunt with host Tom Ackerman.March 8 at 8 pm (ET) — Montauk Stripers with Union Electrical Workers
A third generation union electrician, Joe Proscia helped found the IBEW Local 3 Sportsmen’s Club more than 25 years ago. In this episode, host Tom Ackerman joins Proscia and other IBEW Local 3 members on their highly competitive annual striped bass tournament. Tune in as Proscia and Ackerman apply two very different techniques to see who can hook the biggest fish.March 15 at 8 pm (ET) — Montana Mule Deer with a Union Bricklayer
Bob Krien, a bricklayer (BAC Local 4) from Burlington, WI, would do anything for his family and community. For the last two years, he has been recovering from an accident that left him with a broken leg and shattered ankle. That didn’t stop him from crutching or crawling up bleachers to watch his kids’ sporting events or from participating in a brain injury awareness “Walk for Thought” event, while in a wheelchair. Through the limitless support of his union and family, Krien is finally able to get back to the outdoors that he loves as he joins Tom Ackerman on this Montana mule deer hunt.March 29 at 8 pm (ET) — Indiana Trout with Union Steam Fitter Trio
Dan McNally, Fred Popplewell and Kevin Crum, pipe fitters (UA Local 597) from the Chicago area, form a 3-man team that runs one of the largest piping contractors in their jurisdiction. When they’re not on the job, they’re generally working to make their communities a better place or chasing fish. These three fishing amigos invite host Tom Ackerman on a Lake Michigan fishing trip aboard 30’ Baha Cruiser 299 Sportfish. The lake trout hit their lures with the enthusiasm you’d expect from big, meat-eating fish, and it’s “game on” as the anglers contend to see who will claim the title for landing the biggest catch.
