Welcome to the USA In 1912, President Theodore Roosevelt, the man from whom we draw our inspiration, remarked, “There can be no greater issue than that of conservation in this country.” These words ring as true today as they did when first spoken. The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP) is a coalition of the nation’s leading conservation organizations, labor unions and individual hunters and anglers representing the entire spectrum of our nation’s outdoor sporting community and is dedicated to fulfilling a joint promise to “Guarantee You a Place to Hunt and Fish.” In concert with our partner organizations, the TRCP has created a bold new program called the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA). The USA is a truly a one-of-a-kind hunting and fishing association designed exclusively for conservation-minded union members, retirees and their families that hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors.
Creating a program like the USA benefits the TRCP, our AFL-CIO Union partners, and most important the future of conservation. However, if we are to bequeath a robust outdoor heritage to our children and our children’s children, we must be diligent, persistent, and, above all, unified in our efforts to conserve fish and wildlife. USA offers you the means to do just that, with the bonus of having fun in the process. By joining the USA you will automatically receive a free membership in the TRCP. We are thrilled to add your voice to the growing chorus of those who love the outdoors and want to help shape our nations hunting, fishing and conservation policies.
